In September 2006, I entered the Ohio State Linguistics Ph. D. program.

I plan to do research mainly in computational linguistics, especially machine learning and other topics in artificial intelligence. I am also interested in various topics in syntax and semantics. Ideally, my work will involve both computational and theoretical linguistics.

In addition to being a student, I am also working as an RA with Michael White on OpenCCG, an open-source parser and realizer for CCG. My work on this project involves writing a tool that generates documentation for the component XML grammar descriptor files, and integrating the capabilities of the SRI language modeling toolkit for scoring.
